Well, this was our first tournament of the summer and along with a couple of the clubs other teams we took ourselves off over to Hungate to play some of the Fenland teams and put ourselves through our paces.
We all turned up nice and early and with a good warm up and team talk we were ready to get the day started with the first game of the day...highlights of the day were the games against Hungate and Leverington who were on fire. Hungate was a good game enjoyed by both teams, but it was Leverington match in particular where the passing play was something special to watch.
Players - Aden had a quiet day but along with a lot of good saves made two very important stops to stop any draws and kept a clean sheet all day. James /Angus - as usual were our rocks, no other player was ever a threat to them and kept the games under control. Callum / Harvey - Took hold of the midfield supplying the forwards with some great through balls and great tackling by Harvey. Charlie / Luke - Yet again the boys supplied the entertainment up front with some great goals and fast hard attacking to baffle every defence that challenged them.
