Preparations are well under way for our annual tournament which this year will be held on Sunday 8th July.
There will competitions for all age groups from Under 9 to Under 16 plus non-competitive festivals for under 7 and under 8.
For the first time this year, we will be running the tournament as an open event for all the age groups on a first come first server basis. You can download the Entry Form here or speak to any of the Club managers for a copy.
The Mid Norfolk Youth League have released the rescheduled dates for the finals day at Clenchwarton which was postponed at the end of April. It will now take place on Sunday 20th May.
West Winch have four representatives at the finals.
The Under 12 Yellows can secure a League and Cup double when they take on Dersingham at 10am.
The Under 10's can also repeat their feat from last year if they can beat Downham, kicking off at 10.30.
At 1.30, the Under 9's take on Wootton I in the Sub Cup final and finally the Under 11's play Dersingham at 1.45.
The teams would appreciate all the support we can get on the day, please come along and help the boys finish their seasons in style!
Well done to the Under 16's for winning the MNYL Under 16 Sub-Cup against Holt on Sunday at Clipbush Park, Fakenham.
Congratulations from all the Club to Dave and the squad for their seasons work, it's a fitting reward for the squad in the team's final year in youth football.
Congratulations also to the West Winch Under 12 Yellows who clinched their first league title with a narrow 2-1 win over the West Winch Black Blacks on Thursday evening.
It's a hard earned reward for Gary and the team who had been close on several occasions in previous years.
Well done to the West Winch Under 10's who clinched their second successive league title with a home win over Discovery Blacks on Wednesday evening.
The team have dropped just 3 points so far on the way and have the chance to secure another double when they take on Downham in the League Cup final on the 29th April.
Congratulations to the Under 14's who have secured the Club's first silverware of the season, claiming the MNYL Under 14 Sub-Cup against Downham on Wednesday night at Clipbush Park, Fakenham.
There will be a training session at the West Winch Playing Field on Saturday 14th April starting at 10.30pm for new and old players for a new under 8 side for next season.
The session will be for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
Players will need to be in year 3 of primary school during 2012-13 (under 8 on 1st Sept 2012).
