This was a rematch of the League Cup Qualifier from last October, where West Winch edged out Downham on penalties. This time, West Winch were the hosts.
The game started badly for us with Downham putting pressure early on the West Winch goal. Bradley held them at bay briefly, but Downham eventually scored a deserved goal. We failed to respond and by half-time, Downham had taken a four goal lead.
Second half was better from us, and we managed to restrict the visitors to just one more goal. Kai and Ryan are starting to forma partnership in defence, Harvey put in another good performance in the midfield alongside Kieran and Pedro and Louie worked hard up front but to no avail. It was good to see Gui back this week as well.
